Ankara and Mudcloth Hats

Frank & Myrhh offers two different styles of hats, though a number of designs are available for each style.

Ankara: five-panel hats made from Ghanaian wax-print fabric and assembled in Pittsburgh.

Mudcloth: hats made from a traditional Malian fabric that is dyed with a mixture of fermented mud and plant dyes. The fabric can take up to four days to make, using a process that involves repeatedly painting the fabric with mud, sun drying, and washing off the excess. Also assembled in Pittsburgh.

Each Frank & Myrhh hat fits most adults, small to large, thanks to an adjustable strap (53-63cm).
