Entrepreneur, artist, and yoga instructor Alecia Dawn Young founded YOGAMOTIF in 2018 to provide meditative, healing experiences to communities of all kinds – especially new and expectant mothers. Now, after years of hosting her innovative Yoga Paint Party workshops, which mix movement and making in a playful atmosphere, Alecia has developed a patent-pending yoga-painting mat that invites that same making, joy, and playfulness into one’s own yoga practice. Her hope is that the yoga-painting mat can inspire new avenues on the journey toward wellness.
