Royally Fit is an innovative, community-focussed health and wellness brand that aims to spread a message about personal care throughout the region, especially to disadvantaged communities. Pittsburgh native Aquene Watkins-Wise and her husband, Domenique, formed Royally Fit in 2018 out of a personal fitness business they started here after many years away as an Air Force family. Aquene is a teacher, wellness advocate, home herbalist and assiduous mom. She began selling a homemade lavender & chamomile pillow spray she crafted for lulling her children to sleep.The success of the pillow spray launched a line of organic solution-based wellness products including massage butter candles, hand-mixed herbal teas, oils, balms, and various skin care products.

Aquene has become a proud member of the community of entrepreneurs based at TheGallery on Penn in East Liberty and continues to expand her offerings. She partners with a host of local organizations to sponsor a range of much-needed, no-cost programs in struggling communities, especially those of color. With basic health screenings, nutrition and cooking workshops, overdose prevention clinics, STD testing, and more these outreach efforts allow Royally Fit to educate and provide access to those who have been forgotten in the region. Proceeds from the sales of Royally Fit’s wellness products feed directly into these unique community-based programs.
