“I hope that my work is used daily with meals and conversations shared in its presence.”
Reiko Yamamoto makes modern, versatile, and functional pottery celebrating handmade and ceramic traditions. Influenced by her upbringing in Japan and with her education in fine art ceramics, Reiko established her studio practice creating enduring pieces for thoughtful everyday living. As a child, Reiko recalls eating daily meals from handmade pottery — a tradition her family carries on today in Pittsburgh, PA. Sharing this philosophy through her collection of pottery, Reiko offers a range of tableware, decor, and now, jewelry designed to be mix-and-matched to create meaningful collections.
