“I’m inspired by our interactions with physical space, both natural and built, and romanticize those relationships and experiences through abstract works on paper.”
Rachel Saul Rearick’s eclectic art practice incorporates printmaking, drawing, and painting to create unique monoprints layered with shapes, color, and texture. Working intuitively by hand with wood blocks and hand-mixed inks, she draws inspiration for her abstract designs from an appreciation for architecture and natural landscapes. She’s devoted to the handmade nature of print and uses classic techniques to create modern, intimate art pieces.
