After years in the academic and corporate worlds, woodworker Joe O’Connor established Eisenwood in 2017, a workshop for fine wooden goods for the home or office. From an industrial space in Penn Hills, Eisenwood handcrafts and fabricates myriad items including custom-built furniture, cabinets and trim, specialty commercial fixtures, and increasingly, unique wooden home goods, like bowls, coasters, and cutting boards. Joe and his team work closely with clients to realize ideas from simple furniture pieces to complex projects.
